Patterson Bookkeeping & Consulting is a woman-owned business in Dallas, Texas. We understand the importance of maintaining the financial health of your business. We also understand that doing that requires a specialized skill set and can be overwhelming for many people. That's where we step in. We are passionate about helping small businesses - and small business owners - reach their greatest potential.
Starla Patterson
In addition to owning Patterson Bookkeeping & Consulting since 2017, Starla is a visual artist with a passion for history, politics, and human rights. In her free time, she seeks out charitable opportunities that allow her to help bridge the gap between people in need and the programs they want to take part in. She particularly enjoys engaging the community and utilizes her professional background in marketing, a strong desire to help others, and passion for the arts to help people in underserved communities learn to express themselves practically and creatively so that they are understood, valued, and connected to each other.

Starla is also Board President at Over the Bridge Arts, and Chair of the Dallas is Lit! Festival.
Rachel Hanna
Rachel Hanna is our Account Manager. Though she is new to Patterson Bookkeeping and Consulting, she brings over a decade of experience specializing in small business and nonprofit organizations. She knows what it takes to run a business from the ground up, and how critical instant access to your financial information is. Her love for the arts has lead her to work for local artists as well as larger organizations, such as The Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, and the Dallas Arboretum. She is new to Galveston Island, relocating her family in 2023. The Island is brimming with life, art, and entrepreneurial spirit. She’s excited to represent Patterson Bookkeeping and Consulting in the Galveston community!
